Tails of the World is a collaborative initiative featuring pet photographers from all corners of the world. Our shared goal is to aid pet rescue efforts and spread happiness through captivating photography and heartening tales. Through breathtaking pictures contributed by pet photographers across the globe, this book pays homage to each distinct locale and the furry friends that inhabit them.

Each dog will enjoy a 15 minute pet portrait session with Fuzz Design and one image in the second edition of the Tail of the World book.

The session will take place at our private farm in Monteith, South Australia. We are a minute off the freeway. We offer a number of gorgeous rural settings in a private location.
The registration fee of $100 to participate in this book project, covers your session time. This registration fee will be donated in full to Scruffer Lovers.

One photo from your session included and published in the Tails of the World - volume 2 coffee table book. This image will be picked by Sarina of Fuzz Design.
The opportunity to upgrade your session to a full session for only $85 to include additional pets and immediate family in the session, plus a sneak peek on social media and a 5x7 matted print of your choice.
Copies of the final Tails of the World book will not be included in your session. You will be able to purchase the book in March 2024 with the profits of the book being donated to Second Chance Animal Rescue Inc.
No digital files, prints, wall art or albums from your session are included. You can opt to have a gallery reveal after your session, with the option to purchase images.
No more than 2 pets, family members or other images will be included, unless the session is upgraded to a full session.
Scruffer Lovers was founded 15 years ago, assisting the Murray Bridge council pounds in rehoming pound dogs to avoid facing euthanasia.
In 2019 Scruffer Lovers applied for charity and DGR status as an incorporated association, and they became Scruffer Lovers Inc.
Some dogs come to Scruffer Lovers with a terminal illness and they place them in medical foster homes to see out their lives in a loving home. When the time comes to have them put to sleep, their carers are there with them in their last moments.
Their large foster care base enables them to place dogs in loving homes with experienced foster carers who work alongside their team, to prepare the dogs for their forever homes.
Scruffer Lovers work alongside Veterinary Behaviourists and Behavioural Trainers to ensure positive outcomes for these dogs, in preparation for rehoming.
They have veterinarians who assist them with microchipping, vaccinations and health checks. They also assist Scruffer Lovers with the dogs who have medical issues and their support enables them to achieve positive medical outcomes.
Scruffer Lovers Inc. is constantly growing and reaching out to veterinary specialists and training experts to assist them to rehabilitate all the dogs coming into rescue.
They pride themselves on the animal welfare standards that they uphold by ensuring each animal is treated as an individual whose needs are our top priority.
